Getting drums for your record can be a daunting task. You need to make sure you find the right player, the right parts, the right drums… But often artists can forget that having the right room is a massive part of getting the drums to sit correctly with the rest of your tracks as well. Luckily, for many artists, I have all three of these things. I have worked with many artists in San Diego, CA to create custom drum/percussion tracks that enhance their song specifically. My selection of vintage and new gear along with my highly versatile recording studio help me tackle any project sent my way. My sonic spectrum ranges from low and gushy to tight and cracking snare sounds, tight/punchy to huge kick drum sounds and dead to wide open toms. I also have a variety of percussion instruments that I use to craft the individual sonic character of the song. Here is how this usually goes down.

The process:

2. Schedule a phone call to get on the same page and to talk through timelines/logistics.

3. Pro drum/percussion recording on high end vintage drums with percussion as it fits

4. I send you passes until we have the take we are looking for and your song feels amazing.

5. Turnaround before or by your deadline

6. Open the google drive link with multiple takes, “ready to be dropped” wet and dry files, and logic panning cheat sheet!
